    Suspension upgrade

Well, the 95 Disco is close the having new suspension needed, so Im looking around for whats available. Want the 2 inch lift with comprimise ability of comfort/medium load carrying. Had a look at all the usual big night and decided they aint worth the money. My local LR specialist stocks EFS and at a good price. Im leaning towards them and they havent put a foot wrong with me yet. Anyone running EFS or have any other suggestions for brands that aint going to break my budget?

    Matt.

OME are quality for money paid.
Or may be a little extra $ on King springs and Blisten Shocks on a moderate setting with Polyair bags in the rear to handle the extra weight when loaded.

    I put EFS +50mm on my Disco2.
Ive gone from totaly marshmallow to stiff as.I prefer it stiff(DONT WE ALL) but given the buy chance again would opt for a tad softer.Dont forget I have ACE,on a D1 or D2 with no ACE grab it,bodyroll in coilsprung vehicles is dangerous.
I do some pretty tough off-roading,sofar the EFS setup has worked well.PS I also fitted polyairs(airbags) in the rear springs at the same time and run them at apropriate pressures for the terain.

    Hi Matt,

Put Lovells' on our '97 300Tdi last year and very happy with them. Already had Bilstein dampers and AirLifts (PolyAir equivalents) but was needing the air bags at 20 psi plus to hold the original rears up with our semi-permanent load of 250kg+ behind the cargo barrier. With the Lovells it sits up at least as high as standard (maybe + 1"?) with the same load and the air bags a minimum pressure (5 psi). And the ride is excellent. Highly recommended.

I got my Lovells springs from Quick Suspensions, Tamworth, 02 6762 0898. Good price, fast service, including sending up them to meet us in Mt. Isa!
