    Automatic transmission oil Td5

    Hi All,
    Having put synthetics in the transfer case and diffs Im now considering the auto. Im aware the wrong oil in here could stuuff things up i.e. LT77 manual boxes DO NOT take Castrol Transmax Z, a synthetic of the correct spec, Dextron111, so any experience out there on this matter,thanks

    We use Castrol Dexron III in the ZF auto transmissions.

    Transmax Z is a ZF approved oil for 4HP22, ie the non electronic version.
    Just google ZF oil or similar and the ZF site will come up.
