    Disco recovery points

Can anyone throw me any idead for front recovery points on a 300TDi Disco that still has the full bumper?, or what the rating the pathetic looking tow hook is...if it's at all rated?

I've got a rated tow hook for it, i know it should bolt to the Chassis but where??

Dealers like AMV, LRA Graeme Cooper and Range Rove Automotive have hefty brackets that bolt on to the end of the chassis rails and hang down. You can then mount a tow hook on to these.

You'd need to ring around - they don't always have them.

Some on here under "tow points" - this is one design that takes a shackel - there are others that take a tow hook ( better )

the 4x4DE recovery points are excellent if you have a bullbar. the std skirt on the front of a disco needs a couple of minor mods to get them to fit.

I noticed you have a 4x4de section in your IT shop but it has nothing in it. Do you sell these recovery hooks but haven't yet put them on the site or are you looking in to it?

I've been meaning to get some front recovery hooks for a while but as yet haven't done anything more than look. I've got an ARB winch bar so they should suit.

Don't suppose you have his web address handy. I googled for it and got hits for your IT shop and Slunnies slider pictures but not much else.
