    What oil is best in a td5 synthetic or mineral. Which brand is the best?

    Mobil 1 Delvac seems to be the going theory on best.. but it comes at a price

    I second Tombraider. Used to use Delvac 1, but the price.... well lets say HPR 5 is much cheaper.

    i was looking at the Diesel HPR diesel 5 the other day as im due an oil change.. but its semi synthetic? is this right?.. and im guessing as you have said it.. well it must be ok!

    Actually a report (link eludes me atm) shows the semi synthetics have the benefits of both mineral and synthetics properties...

    I'd suggest it every time...

    The TD5 almost purrs on the stuff.

    well i'll go with that as i can get it in the 20l Drum form im sure.. cant remember how much at the moment tho... i have a whole load of maintenance lined up.. including finally that package to yourself!
