By the way, does your model come with the old fashioned audio cassette as well on the head unit. Our Discovery does and it is a good backup if the cds don't play due to a rough road.

I went through the same issues with my CD player as it would not load cd's correctly. I contacted the service centre and it was a case of no parts, no service, no idea but we can fix it for squillions if you're lucky.

The general consensus is to replace with an aftermarket product.

Ok then, has anyone out there got a stuffed unit that they want to donate the cassette to Terry?

I believe the problems are caused by the cassette itself. It does not handle the weight of the cd which causes the alignment of the lazer head to go out.

The previous owner most likely had enough of the cassette/cd's and flung it as far as it could go.

I repair these for a living and do so for Rovertech and British parts and service and Discovery autos.
But I need to know if it is a 6 stacker or a ten

Eurovox has gone into recievership but I believe someone is/has taken it over in melbourne.
U need to get me before the end of the month as I am closing my business due to lack of work and too much chinese Imports flooding our markets.
