who did you deal with ??
Forget his name but at least 10 emails passed between us he claims to have posted a further 2 keys and then claimed to send a refund.
When I asked him for a faxed copy of the refund he purchased he claimed not to have kept the receipt!. most unlikely
If you look at his feedback every now and then a dispute arises when a non delivery takes place.
He won't use Paypal you have to send him a cheque and so you have no recourse.
I complained to ebay so may be he has cleaned his act up.
One of us was luckier than the other.:(
do you remember if the guy was called keyspot ??
His name is Mike Borenler operates out of Canada but has a depot in USA and trades under the name of Keyspot.
This is an email he sent me on November 1st
Hi there. Please rest assured that this is well on its way. International delivery is sometimes delayed – especially with electronics. If you do not receive it by the end of this week please let me know and I will call Canada post and ask them to trace it.
This one in January
Harry,
I guess a money order is the only solution. I did not make it to the western union outlet today but I will tomorrow. At the same time, once the money order is issued I will be mailing it via Canada Post.
And still nothing has arrived, he made all the right responses answered every email but as I said one of us was lucky and the other wasn't
wow ! that would of hurt the back pocket a bit, i'm just glad i can get this problem out of the road and get on to the others with the car.
just wondering if the key finally turned up,,,
and
has anybody replaced the battery in a D2 keyfob recently,, and kept the number:angel:
Its a standard CR2032 - Land Rover recommend the Panasonic and I'd second that over an Energizer or Duracell, other option would be Varta.
is it just levered off?
(looks a likely spot in the key ring section)
The key has not arrived.
Luckily we found the other one so apart from being annoyed for being ripped off I've moved on and am wiser for the experience.
regards
