Ah, i didnt realise he had another auto for sale, i only saw the add for the auto only. If you buy it installation shouldnt cost any more than the orignal purchase price, maybe contact Ruff and ask him.

Yes i have 2. The Auto on its own was bought with no history. I bought it from a workshop. They had done an auto to manual conversion for a guy and the auto had been sitting there for a couple of years. The Mech said the Auto was running fine before removing.

The complete Auto and transfer was purchased from Andrew E's Father Eric AKA Bundalene on Ebay. Came from a Disco that had 97,000ks on the clock. I bought it with the 3.9 V8 as a complete conversion into my range rover but ended up loosing interest and sold the motor a few months ago. I bought an 80 series the other week at the right money so the rangie is going as well. The rangie was prob the best 4wd ive ever owned but the little "rover" problems have just got the better of me so ive swapped camps again.

by the look of the pic it comes with a drive plate, converter and transfercase as you can see the drum on the back.
Whats the problem with running a couple of steel lines and hyd hose with hose clamps and an external oil cooler.
you might have to do some tail shaft and front shaft mods and remove the clutch assy but I cant see it being a big job.

It also comes with the oil lines. About the only things missing for a conversion is the cooler, brake pedal and possibly shafts. Im not sure if the man and auto shafts are the same.
