    Heater Core replacement

    I too have a disco 1 with a leaking heater core. What is the "unofficial" replacement method and where can you get resonably priced cores??

    This method was not pioneered by me but I have used it and it's great. See pics posted by DarrenW here: Heater core 1997 Disco.. DIY or Workshop ?

    I used a second hand core.

    My late 95 D1 just started leaking. I have seen cores in the Trading post before, but didn't take much notice

    I'll fix it as it's a daily driver (plus the long drive to site at 5am is no fun in winter)

    So any info on where to get a core will also help me
