ringing sound on takoff on a hill

I have noticed a 'ringing' sound when I take off from a standstill on a hill, it only lasts for a sec or 2.
    Like a slipping fan belt.
i don't think the serpentine belt is slipping, and it only does it when on a hill.
Could it be some sort of bearing noise in the clutch area???
