Thread: Moving PTO winch from 2a and fitting it into S3 Stage 1

    Here is a pic of my LT95 PTO. From the PTO it is just a shaft drive with keyway that goes forward to the winch (which is not installed)

    Just to round off our discussion, the bamford winch is generally a copy of the thomas - at least it's about the same size.

    since petrol is at $1.30L here at the moment, consider if you do buy the stage 1, be prepared for 20L/100k city and off road. The best I ever got with my 83 rangie (same ratios/box/diffs as stage 1) on the highway was 14/100k - and that was restrained driving at 90 - 100k max, no payload , *with an overdrive.* Without the overdrive, it was 18/100k -

    I get 10L/100k in my disco diesel around the city - and on the standard tank that is 800km.
