its just like it has switched over to idle mode......you can feel this just by giving the engine a rev......

as soon as the revs drop to idle it will run rough for a second.....then switch to idle mode......

it is possible that this is what crump is noticing.....only due to panic after doing a bit of work himself.......
it is paranoia that he may have stuffed something up me thinks......
thanks for the psyche assessment , and your probably right.
Best way I can explain it is its like my Guzzi at idle, it rocks to and fro like a flywheel effect.Funnily enough I HAVE only noticed it since servicing it.

Cant be suspension as it was just done and it did it before as well.No strange noises just this "rocking sort of effect".Hard to explain.
Have you had ECU fault codes read? Could be a symptom of "oil in the harness".

Does it shake the whole time it is idling?

If it is just a grabbing/knocking feeling when you first pull up and first move away then I'd still back the handbrake off at the drum. It is only loosening or tightening the adjuster with a socket so I'd try it anyway.
Mine did it and as I was not used to a transfer handbrake I never even considered it when it did it too me. Thought I had something expensive to fix
