Pretty sure it's self leveller.....I have checked and re-checked all bushes and the ball joint. They are fine. I can move the self leveller bottom joint up and down though, so I think it's that.

One problem though.......I dont have a thin enough spanner to get into the bottom joint to undo it and remove the bloody thing.

Doe's anyone have a clue on this???

I even went out and looked for some thin jaw spanners at my local tool joint.......Good luck the guys says.

This is the last thing on my list of things to do before RWC, so it's a little frustrating. I really wanted to get this Road Worthied this week.........now I dont know.
    Cheers

Last person I heard commenting on this I think used either an oxy torch or an angle grinder - but a hacksaw might be easier to manage. It was someone on here, so maybe they will see this thread.

Just get a big **** chain and attach it to it and then attach the other end to Hiline's truck, problem solved

..... might cause other unforeseen problems though !

Dude, go buy some cheap spanners from bunnings and grind them so they fit.

I'd pull it off to grind the thing off.

In my exp the only clunking thinks are the bushes at the chassis end or the ball joint.
Ive never seen a bodge unit clunk - but there useless any way cut the think off.
Just go buy some $2 spanners and start grinding them down so they fit.

I'm trying to leave a life of butchering cars behind me with the arrival of this "new" 110.

Yeah, like the guys said, get a thick spanner and make it thin, done that before today, its kinda satisfying making your own specialist tools, got lots of them, wonder why? Fiat and Landy owner, then there's the boat....

I once wondered why 'toolmaking' was an apprenticeship, I've since learned why.... should've done it!
