Ok Am i the only one or
If you have an ARB bumper on a D2 which is ok for the air bag.
It should not give a sh*t what winch you have in it for the airbags to still work.Or are the crush cans for the air bags snobs and only like certain winches

Either that or your a big strong ****er

I mean they can be lifted, but getting one out the car, dragging it up the muddy hill, attaching to the front.........

I did my back in and was moving around on all fours after lifting the bumper and high mount (together ) onto the front of my 90 on my own.. And it had no cable on at the time (i had plasma and it was in the washing machine at the time)

Only worked with D1 airbag compatible bars and they have a cradle to house a low mount winch, fits between the chassis rails (similar to what I've made for better approach angle, for RR's with low mounts) and doesn't effect the cans, but If bolted directly to the front, which a high mount has to, the little cans hetween the bar and chassis rails will bend out of shape, D2's dont have crush can's????

So as this is going on a d2 then, no problems as they don't have crush cans

D2 ARB bars have deformable mounts, the winch bar and mounts is rated to take a 10,000lb winch on a double line pull.

A 8000lb highmount won't stress it at all...

Guys... Lets cut the BS here.................

If you can fit it into the bar/grill no worries.... It will work and the airbag system will be fine.

However, it is a bulky winch and modifying the bar will be required.

    It can however, be done!
