Have you got suitable jacking points on your Disco ?
New from ARB are only around the $150 mark but if the one you're looking at is a good one, then $99 is a good price.
Check the quality though - there are a few cheapies around.
High Lift Jack:
2 tonne SWL
$99
Worth it (for a Disco owner)?

Years ago I would have said "no worries" from Repco but not so now....
Check where it's made. If China, I'd be tempted for something better IMO.
The high lift needs substantial jacking points. The towbar would be OK but not the best point for stability. If you plan on fitting sliders under your sills later, then the high lift would be good with those.
A decent bull bar would be needed to jack from for the front.
There are adaptors available to convert your wheels into a jacking point but I haven't any experience with those.

That ATV place you gave me a card for.
And as for price I can't remember -I *think* it'll be about $850 or so to get them fitted. I can't rememeber the exact price at the moment but I've paid a $500 deposit for the work when the sliders arrive off the boat.
I'm not sure how this price compares; it may not be the cheapest, but given my car I'm wanting to get the side steps taken off and sliders put on ASAP to prevent any body damage rather than wait another couple of months get it done cheaper elsewhere.
