    Series 3 Wiring diagrams

I have been using the Hanes service book wireing diagrams to do a bit of electrical work on the Landy, and i can't help but notice that there are a few systems not shown on the diagrams. For example the failure light for the dual brake system, and also reverse light system, is not shown in the book, Was it only the Aussie built ones that has some of these features? and if so dose anyone have some wiring diagrams that cover a 1981 SIII LWB 6cyl Petrol Landy?

Thanks heaps for those links, that is what i am after.

Just another question on the side, Dose anyone know how to get the knob off the windscreen wiper selector switch? it seems to have a metal pin driven through the knob into the shaft of the switch. The pin dose not go right through, so i can't drift it out

    G'day Paulthepilot

Yup ! those little Lucas rotary switches have a "Spring Pin" just push the little pin in, you may have to push fairly hard as the pin locks to the plastic with dust same on ALL Lucas switches of the 50's & 60's, similar pins hold the ignition key barrels in

Send me a PM if you are still having trouble with the wiring.

    cheers
