Is your horn worrking okay? My cruise control didn't work on my 97 Disco - it was one of the faults I got sorted the other week.

The horn didn't work either. It only sounded when I pressed the Set button on the steering wheel when the cruise control master switch was off. When the master switch was on, the horn didn't work at all.

In the end there were several faults all connected with the steering casette being ****ered so the whole thing had to be replaced.

There is 2 switches 1 for cruise 1 for brake. Remove cruise switch. To adjust the switch pull button all the way out and then put it back in the brake pedal and that will auto adjust the distance make you hold the pedal down when refitting switch.
Thats what a Landrover mechanic told me to do.

Not sure about that. The WM shows the switches as being screwed in & they could be adjusted in increments. In reality, mine are clipped in & there is no adjustment.

I also have two pedal switches being a manual.

On D2's auto there is just one switch on the brake pedal that does cruise and brake lights.

On a manual - there is one on the brake and one on the clutch
