    Bleeding Brakes

Well it seems after a trip down memory lane in the Disco (about a kilometer) after not having driven her for quite a few weeks that the brake master cylinder is shot. Some P plater was nearly compressed when my efforts with the brake pedal were floored (or should that be spelt "flawed") resulting in my needing to wear brown corduroys. Low range first was required to return the English Mistress down the ramp to the parking spot.

So to get to the point and having searched the forum I came across Landy Andys post regarding his purchase of a "1 Man Bleeding Kit".

Where the bleeding hell can these be purchased?

mahn, just get a clear tube, about 1/4 inch dia, coil it from the caliper bleed fitting up to the top of the spring and down to a container.
start with the furtherest away, like rear left and open the bleeder fitting, then s l o w l y pump the pedal full travel, keep an eye on the contents of the reservoir and when just about empty, rush around and lock off the fitting. at this stage your tube should be full of fluid. just follow siut with the others and it should work.
don't let the reservoir get empty.
edit - you must keep the free end of the tube in fluid.
