    Engine saver

Just about to fit this in my Defender...which radiator hose are people chopping into for it? To me, the top one looks easiest...

If you are talking top as opposed to bottom hose ...

'cos the top will be the first to lose it's coolant. In the bottom, the donk would be cooked before the alarm sounded. Follow the installation instructions.

Good, not often that the easiest fit is the best way as well. Thanks all.

David's original idea is sound. Clean it all up well & use some blue sealant. Recheck for weeps a day or so after using your LR.

Jeff: Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The instructions for the In-Line sensor didn't categorically state the top radiator hose. They just followed on from the web-site link: http://www.enginesaver.com.au/Fitt%20Guide.htm which is the fitting guide for the top radiator hose.
I have just ammended our printed instructions and the web-site to reflect this.

It's actually obvious when you think about it, but I didn't, I'm afraid!

Still, better than having chopped through a hose and then realising I need to move it!
