    Fuel Pumps again

Does anyone know whether the D2 TD5 & the Defender TD5 pumps are the same item?

Just trying to sort common spares for a trip.

    TIA

I believe that the difference is in the carrier, I dont want to pull mine apart as its still working but I suspect I have a line on a comercially available pump that can replace the intank pump in much the same way as a generic holden intank pump can be pressed into service for the 3.9lv8 jobbie...

When mine dies or someone can provide me a dead one to play with I'll let yall know and will provide a howto on it.

    Hi Blknight,

As luck would have it - I have a fuel pump for you ....... and some Irish luck too - I live in Albury. Send me a Personal Email - re: contact details etc etc - and the fuel pump is yours to work some magic on it.

Yeah whatever...........but I suppose as a Queenslander he is going to have to suffer a couple of months of misery when the Cockroaches belt the Toads.......again.

Thanks for the PM Blknight .... I'll stick it in the post... no charge ... just do your stuff and get an alternative for all of us 'Fender drivers.
