    Engine Oil Lines

    Has any body removed the engine oil lines from the radiator a by passed the radiator on a 3.9 v8. replaced oil lines just wondering if we need an engine oil cooler in Australian conditions or is it to warm the oil up in European conditions.

    As your post actually says, they are an engine oil cooler to stop the engine oil overheating and breaking down in hot Australian conditions.

    And those Rover Engines run VERY VERY hot at the best of times, so any extra cooling is a plus

    Yeah they do at that.
    I would actually be putting a decent engine oil cooler in and a tranny oil cooler. Also a bonnet scoop with side vents to push the hot air out.
