    Yep went through that with my brothers Disco a couple of months back. Took us an hour. Easiest way is just to remove the whole assembly. My Disco was easy enough as no seats and used to use the void to store stuff.

    What you need is a Wing Nut Driver.

    This is one type, but there are other shapes that do the same thing.

    Probably a piece of good steel tube with slots would do it jast as well?

    Bung it into a battery drill & Robert is yer Mum's bruv.

    Disco1

    As someone mentioned earlier , I remove the Whole assembly and changed the Bulb this way , in the past trying to reach iniside to unscrew the Bulb Holder I applied a Little too much force with Multi Grips and broke the damn things. oop , I'm not supposed to use Multi grips am I ?

    So simple too.

    I'm not sure, but I suspect the wing nuts LR use are a type of Nyloc with something tightening up on the thread. Makes sense really.

    OK, so how do you do it if its a 7 seater....

    I looked at Michelle's Disco and said " The center brake light works"

    So what is the Trick??

    I removed the two bolts that hold the seat back and folded it forward from memory.
