    Hi All
Rang the Steelers to-day Cost of a new hose is $360 + So I would suggest that you all check that yours is not rubbing on the block. Karcraft do not stock the hose.

Thats ridiculous - I did a search on the part number ANR6974 and this is what I got

ANR6974Hose - Power Steering Reservoir to Pump - Discovery II - Diesel 13.40
    Ex VAT15.74

Which is less than $50.00 - you would have to pay postage - but it can't be that much

It must be the pipe from the steering box to the reservior, not the reservoir to the pump that you need.
It's QEP000082 & it comes with the pump to box pipe which is why it's exxy .

If that's the case, send me a PM & I should be able to save you around $100.
Also include the last 6 of your VIN just so I can double check the part #.

    Hi All
It is the reservoir to pump hose that I require I will check around a few more places to see what I can come up with. We are also in the process of making our own.

Looking at the parts listing, that hose doesn't appear to have a steel section. It's just a low pressure hose so anything would do to replace it if you get stuck.

As Ladas said, it's only cheap for the correct part. Full tilt from LR is only around $50.
