Hi Guys.. i have searched and read pretty much all of the threads i can find.. but is there anywhere on here that defines what parts you actually need to replace the injector harness? do i need any gaskets / seals etc ... is there a specific way to do something that helps prevent the ingress again? etc etc etc.. i have the rave manual, and it looks fairly straight forward, i am planning also to flush the main harness (as the oil reached the red plug!)

the next definitive thing... is where to get the bits from (im based in perth, but dont mind internet ordering at all)

If you can successfully clean the harness to the ECU, then you just need to replace the injector harness.
You might get away with re-using the rubber gasket if you're careful & use a bit of sealant on the half moon areas.

im planning on not replacing the main harness (im assuming that big $$ and time) so i will flush it out as suggested by a few yesterday.. but will buy the injector harness

im not too fussed about buying a new gasket if i need to.. i'd rather that than a leaky rocker cover!

so next question.. where do i buy the 2 from? and do i need orings?

when you say injector harness ?????????'thats the bit from inside engine to the outside plug [roundish].....is that correct...........not the entire lengh to the ecu

cheers ......i have going ar mine for about 1.5 weeks no and looking promising make sure you reconnect then drive it and do it over .over ,over [i find the garden spray bottles work the best ]
