    air compressor running

    just sometimes--
after I park in the usual spot in our back yard the rear airbag compressor cycles on and off a couple of times,,

I must admit the usual spot has the front left in a pothole about 8 inches deep,,,,,
so the car has a bit of a tilt to it,,

so is it trying to compensate for the funny angle?
and should it be concerned after the cars switched off?

your disco will always try to level its self. mine started to do the same thing then one of the bags blew up (BAAAAANNNNNNNNNNG) Not sure if this is your case but there could be a leak in the air lines someware or bags are damaged. Do your self a favor and remove the bags and fit coils with polyairs. before you are stuck someware in the midle of the bush .[ATTACH][ATTACH]Picture 060.jpg

Hi Pedro, is the compressor actually running or is the air being used just what’s left in the reservoir.

On both the RR and the D3, if you are going to jack them up to change a tyre, you MUST leave a door open otherwise the vehicle can try to level itself at any time without warning. In my opinion this is a very dangerous operation.

    Cheers.

I've got a 93 RRC and have always had this problem, till now!
I wired a changeover relay into the disable switch under the seat. Now when the ignition is on, the suspensions works well, when the ignition is off, it doesn't do anything. Its just as though I've used the the disable switch or left a door open.
This appears to me to be the way it should have been done in the first place.
I can not think of any situation where I would need the system to operate in my absense.
