i've got 33x10.5x16's on fender steelies on mine... a slight rubbing on lock but been too lazy to change the bumpstops.

Maybe go a touch thinner like 9.5's and adjust the stops and you're away

OH hangon.... just thought i've got the 3" lift of mine so that may also help

    DO A SEARCH NOOB......

uh, oh, sorry Inc, it's you....

255/85/R16's are available in BFG MT's, Maxxis Bighorn MT and Cooper ST. These are around 33.3" tall new. These are legal on 6.5" 130 rims.
Then in bias ply you can get Simex, Silverstone and probably others.
In 255/100/R16 (the old 9.00/16) you can Get Michelin XZL's, but these are more like 35-36" tyres
<edit> there's a few of us on here running the 255/85's, either on 130 rims or Disco 7" rims. I'm on my second set of BFG's now</edit>
