Shorty, just buy a new bearing (Thrust Race), should be able to get one for less than $30, Regards Frank.
Does any body have a second hand usable, Series 3 clutch to spare, for a better than the $350 new, I have been quoted. Seems like it is the bearing has collapsed on mine. The drive plate and the pressure plate are still functional, but, the bearing has died. At a pinch, I can get away with just the bearing.
It only has to last a month or 5 weeks, then the Landy gets a heart transplant.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. can PM about payment, delivery, etc.
Thank you.
Shorty.

Apparently, right at the moment. The only Landy clutch part in captivity in SA, is a complete clutch pack. Just out of reach of my pension, at the moment.
Of course that is only the 3 local blokes, always very helpful, but, the nearest other old Landy owner is in another state, or some thing.
I do have people chasing, in as obscure places, as Kangaroo Island. Even been eyeing off, the one with the NOT for sale sign on it locally.
Nice little dark green Series 2 sports coupe.
It appears they changed to making them out of "unobtainium", some time back.
Clutch is still just functional, but it can't hold up much longer. Will keep trying.
Thank's Frank, I'll chase the Adelaide boys Monday, on a bearing only.
Dave, I just saw your post, after saving this reply. Thank you very much mate. PM me, when you find out.
Typical, isn't it. Rego due, electricity bill, water rates, trying to get a new engine and gearbox built.
Where is that "bang your head" smiley thing, I think that would feel good about now.
Shorty.

Thank's, Unca HO. Will start web search for parts again tomorrow.
Been out of the game too long. Every body I knew, has retired or passed on.
Got to catch up on a pile of new, old stuff.
Shorty.
