Does running LPG have any bearing on which oil you should use.????

Ok I will agree that Penrite is the second best Oil on the market after Mobil 1.

Yeah.....I found the Penrite LPG Oil.

Went to do the oil change last night.....How big is the sump plug....I didn't have a spanner/socket big enough to undo it.!!!

Does anyone know what size it is.????

Penrite is the best stuff I have ever used. I ran HPR 30 in my First Rangie just after I rebuilt it, and when it was run in, I was able to consistantly rev to 6500 smoothly and quickly. I miss that engine.

In my current Rangie, I run HPR 40....it wont rev as hard as the old engine (cam), but it runs alot smoother than when I have had repco oil in it.

One day, I will swap that engine...

I dont think running a lighter oil in a cooler climate would make a big increase in oil leaks. the lighter oil should run at aproximatly the same viscosity when the engine is operating in the colder temps.

Did you fit a bigger sump or was it standard?
If you fitted it was it for engine cooling?
    Did it work?
