Depends on whether your disco is stock or not. Standard you could fit 245/75/r16s fairly easy without too many problems. If you want to fit 265/75/r16s (what I run) then you will need a 2inch lift and replace the standard plastic bumper with a bullbar otherwise you will get rubbing on the bumper and steering arms.

Oh and dont listen to Slunnie....hes crazy...lol

    Cheers

    I have 2" lift and 265/75/16s alternative is 235/75/16s

No lift will see 245 /75/16s

    2" lift 265 /75/16s or 235/75/16s

2" lift with a 2" body lift minor guard trim 34" maybe 35"

Ask Slunnie hell tell ya with a grinder anything is possible

Do you have a lift? If you do and you only want something to play on the weekends then I would go for 265/75/r16s...

I wouldnt cut the guards at all...just lift it 40mm and run 265/75's. Otherwise 245/75s are your next option with stock suspension.

You wont need to cut any metal if you stick with 245/75/16s
there are many Mud Tyres to choose from in this size
The Disco is very capable in standard trim no lift even better with a decent tyre
It sounds like you are looking for a Bigger tyre if thats the case then you can go a 2" lift and fit 265/75/16s or 235/85/16s 235s are Bl**dy Big when you actually see them in the flesh compared to a 235/70/16 so I guess it boils down to what you want (Tyre Size Lift etc) and how much you want to spend
