Depends on whether your disco is stock or not. Standard you could fit 245/75/r16s fairly easy without too many problems. If you want to fit 265/75/r16s (what I run) then you will need a 2inch lift and replace the standard plastic bumper with a bullbar otherwise you will get rubbing on the bumper and steering arms.
Oh and dont listen to Slunnie....hes crazy...lol
Cheers

What do ya have on it now ..
MY bro has mtr's on his and i think there around the 275x65x16 there bouts tho with a little lift ya could go 255x85x16 or without and go a 235x85x16![]()
I have 2" lift and 265/75/16s alternative is 235/75/16s
No lift will see 245 /75/16s
2" lift 265 /75/16s or 235/75/16s
2" lift with a 2" body lift minor guard trim 34" maybe 35"
Ask Slunnie hell tell ya with a grinder anything is possible![]()
at the moment i have 245/70/16 nexen AT's, with an ARB bull bar. i want something thats alright in the mud but nothing huge.
Steve
Do you have a lift? If you do and you only want something to play on the weekends then I would go for 265/75/r16s...
Angus
no lift on it yet, with a bit of cutting but no lift whats a good mud tyre
I wouldnt cut the guards at all...just lift it 40mm and run 265/75's. Otherwise 245/75s are your next option with stock suspension.
Angus
You wont need to cut any metal if you stick with 245/75/16s
there are many Mud Tyres to choose from in this size
The Disco is very capable in standard trim no lift even better with a decent tyre
It sounds like you are looking for a Bigger tyre if thats the case then you can go a 2" lift and fit 265/75/16s or 235/85/16s 235s are Bl**dy Big when you actually see them in the flesh compared to a 235/70/16 so I guess it boils down to what you want (Tyre Size Lift etc) and how much you want to spend
