    Unhappy lt177 gearbox clunking noises

    Hi All, 93 D1 v8i 5 spd man, gearbox has input shaft wear causing clunks if not carefull with clutch & 2nd gear cruntches all the time yuk!

    Can anyone recommend a good gearbox repairer in Sydney? price & quality. Any advice would be very appreciated.

    G'day, i can't help you with a gearbox shop in Sydney but i did spot this from Triumph Rover Spares in SA - www.triumphroverspares.com.au

    I dunno if this is the same as the LR LT-77 (ratio wise) but it might be a start for you...and if it is, just knock the bellhousing and extension housingoff this one and you've got a new box for $600!

    If your after lt77 parts or another box with good spline and new input for transfer case pm me as i have 2 boxes and 1 transfer with some new parts included for sale

    Hi mate looking for alternatives to overhaul of my box $1,500+ parts +lab to r&r so don,t really know if I could use any of your parts untill box is stripped. unless one of yours is sweet & ready to go?

    Any way how much do you want ?
