I had to change the serpentine belt today. It was the wrong length and the belt was slack.
As the tacho gets its signal from the alternator, the revs I quoted above, may be in error. Will have to check again later in the week if I get time (I hope to leave for Simpson on Fri arvo, or early Sat morning).
