    driving in thick mud

    after going for a drive tonight, i got stuck a few times in the mud.
    does any one have any tips for getting out of deep mud.

    winch, snatch strap, bridgine plates, plenty of debris chucked at the wheels. rocking the vehicle carefully from first to reverse without spinning the wheels (how easy is that with TC BTW) exhaust bag jacks, high lift jacks...

    but which you use comes down to .. How stuck, How deep and what kind of Mud.

    I remember my grandfather used to stop and "polish" sidewalls with soap just before getting in/crossing difficult section. The lesson from WWII.

    stops the mud from sticking to the side walls and the side biters.....

    comprox works well as well and can be sprayed on..

    What is comprox, is it like a spray on silicon or wd - 40 anti stick stuff. never heard of it. ?
