are you talking about clearance between the sidewall and the top of the spring mount??

thats what the clearance would be if the buldge in the side wall and the spring seat were side by side on mine. but because of my lift the seat is about 5'' away from the buldge.
but as i said in my pm, i still had clearance b4 the lift??

dont know why yours is closer, maybe the welder sneezed on yours???

What are they like in the rough? I was thinking very strongly about mud boggers but have desided against them as the are just hopeless on bitumen. (still want them though just cant afford two sets of tyres yet)

Just fitted a set of these to my Rangie (285/75R16's). Going out to try them tomorrow on a club trip so wish me luck

Paid $236 a tyre, good value for money and **** all over the BFG's I had on already. Noisewise at 60kph it sounds like a cessna landing behind me but at highway speeds it's not much noisier than the BF's to be quite honest.

Hi had the silverstone extremes wow what awesome rubber off road but on road Jesus it sounded more like a Boeing

They where 35x16 I think paid $300ish they dont last long if always driven on

Then again I was silly enough to have them on at all times wife coursed me every time she jumped in the car

This time I think ill get something else a while a ago there where remolds called mongrels are they still around
