    fitting seats

    has any one fitted disco 1 electric seats to a defender?

    has no one even fitted standard seats ,is the cab on 110 or130 wide a enough

    I tried a few of the sports seats a week or so back, and didn't like how any of them fitted (Even ignoring the fact I'd have to make up subframes) so I'm in the same boat as you.

    Was about to order foam and upholstery kits for the standard Defender ones.

    I have recaros in the Pootrol which is up for sale and still looking to purchase a defender 130 d cab. I was thinking about keeping the recaros to put in the defender when I get it. ........No good? I think these would be smaller then the disco seats.

    I tried a few Autotechnica seats, but found them too wide, too tall, etc. Cobras are quite a common fit in the UK though (With rails/frames made for them) so certain sports seats must fit OK...just not the ones I tried!

    Ho har,

    I live at Laravale and have a spare Disco seat you could borrow to see if it could fit. It's to go into my Rangie (the driver's is already in) but it's sitting in the back of the rangie which is currently at the mechanics. When I get it back (this week hopefully), you could pop aroundr to test, if you like?
