    S3 hartop roof to 110

I am about 95% sure it is a straight swap...however there's that 5% that says check first. Was thinking of getting the hardtop roof off my brothers S3, it's a ute now. Cut the alpine lights in, re- fit and that's it. Sound feasible?

    Cheers

are you trying to fit a series 3 roof to a coil sprung 110?
if so the front might give you trouble for the windscreen.

S3 roof will not fit the Fender screen.
    the Fender screen is Higher

I went down that route when i converted Grommet from a Hard top to a Ute....

you can use the s3 roof. But you pretty much must use the s3 windscreen. This can be ok if you are not a giant and you want an across the front roof console. A mate used a s3 ute cab for his 110 (1987).

I would use a 110 roof. A cheap paint solution for the 110 roof would be powder coating. I would take all the 2pac off with stripper first rather than bead blast it. Alternatively a shop should only charge about $600 to 2 pac it.

yeah...after remembering the flat screen ...it won't work.I know Lt Rover ,Brian, over in Kal had done the s3 roof and screen with a rollover he has.Good solution, looks a touch out of place though....no will fork out the cash for a 110 roof.

    thanks for the input........

    cheers
