No sound dico 11 dvd player.

I have a dvd player in the disco 11 and believe it is a landrover fitted unit, I do not have a hand book to tell me how to use it. It does play a dvd and you get the picture but no sound. The mute is not on, does anyone know how to operate the volume, and is it possible that I need head phones.

Does the audio play through the 'radio/cd' player - you may have to set the input on the radio/cd

but this is just a thought - not a fact

I had the same problem with mine, got the truck minus the LR headphones, a quick check with LR put me off buying a set from them(cant rmemeber how much they were but i remember it was alot) I have gone to an aftermarket deck with a built in DVD player and riged the line out to the screen instead, works much better.

Correct the headphones are IR from a transmitter on the screen. Get a small (iPod style) MP3 player FM transmitter and broadcast it back to your radio.
