no mate i dont rest my foot on the pedal
and no its hasn't been for swim
well not for a few weeks![]()
Knowing they have just replaced the slave cylinder in the last few days, I would say it needs to be adjusted properly.
Though your not resting your foot on the clutch pedal are you Ray? I only say this as if there was heaps of play in it before hand and that allowed you to get away with it, now it may not have enough and that could be causing the slip.
I have come accross this before but mainly with a few female drivers that dont think about what they are doing.
Failing that then your clutch is probably worn or glazed, did you take it swimming on the weekend at all? this can cause slippage which then can cause hot spots and glazing.
Hope that helps Ray and Im not picking on your driving mate, just a suggestion as sometimes we do things that we dont realise were doing.

130's rule
If your anywhere near Cranny today, call in and we will have a look
do you still have a bit of free play in the clutch pedal
I reckon it's the clutch it-self. Let us know what it is when you get it sorted.
Hiline, Is that Fender of yours a Td5? If so, I would do the clutch ASAP, as the flywheel CANNOT be machined, and with all that slipping.....You will end up buying a new Dual mass flywheel at about $900.smackosAs well as the clutch kit!!!!!!!!!
If Tdi, don't panic quite as much.
