According to RAVE, the condensor fan switch (normally open) closes at 100 C rising and opens at 94 C falling, while the comp cut-out switch (normally closed) opens at 115C. So, I 'spose a cut-out switch could be wired via a relay to light a warning lamp at 115 C. Don't know what the threads are re. fitting a VDO or other sensor.

a standard 1/8"-24NPTF VDO well screws into the OE spot. This is supplied with their gauges.
