They are going to put the 2" outlet on, so can i wrap something around it to make up the extra couple of mm (3mm) and use 2 clamps.

Sorry but it makes you wonder you are getting a custom radiator made and they cant custom make a 2 1/4" outlet

Yep my thoughts too ive repaired and modded a few alli rads and it wouldent be hard to fit the rite size outlets to it whoever is doin the rad must be a bit tight to only offer those sizes ....

By the way who's doin the rad for ya ive often thought of doin another alli rad conversion as i can get the cores at the rite price and the tanks are a snack to make and weld onto the core

Its getting done by Race Radiators in Dandenong, i thought they would be pretty reputable and know what they are talking about. Apparently they can't get a 2 1/4" outlet, only 2 and 2 1/2"

Get onto PWR up in qld thats were i got the last core i did and they had the outlets and all the other bits to like alli cap mount and stuff what sorta rad is it a triple core and how many passes will the coolant do in it as you can make baffels into the tanks so the coolant has to pass through the core twice or three times before it goes back through the block and it makes em verry effective have a look here http://www.pwr.com.au/index.html
