    quick exhaust size question (defender)

    What is the diameter of a standard Defender extreme (2001) exhaust? 2 or 2.5inches...

    Its time to rip the muffler out in favour of a straight through system.

    For Mr Jimmy - be carefull. I am in the midst of the exhaust woes after changing standard TDi mufflers for a sports glasspack. The TDi pipe is Metric, and 60mm OD. Most commom muffler places can only bend Imperial in 2.25 (57) and 2.5 (64mm). Measure up your pipe with calipers.
