Hi - have a 99 Td5 S2 Disco and want to fit the softest OME coil springs all round (previous S1 Disco had mid-range firmness OME - great on-road; not so good off-road). However, I don't want the rear to be lower than the front when laden, so would like to fit 10 mil coil spacers on the rear. The S1 Disco couldn't take coil spacers, but apparently the S2 can. ARB do 8 mil steel 'trim packers' for S2 - i.e. if the need to trim one side to account for accessory/driver weight etc. I'd be happy to whack these in on both sides at rear, but would prefer polyurethane - anyone know where I can get these?

So these would replace the OE air bags?

I used to run spacers on the top of the rears. I think they were Landcruiser fronts that matched and I have seen up to 30mm spacers, though you may get more. I bought my ones from http://www.wholesalesuspension.com.au/ in Penrith Sydney though I think they do post.

I got 30mm spacers with poly airs. in the rear to match ride hight of the front when loaded asi have got a 2 1/4 inch lift. You can get spacers from any good 4wd shop.
If you fit polys you will loose some articulation flex but it depends what you do with ya 4be. Poly air bags and coil spacers are no big deal to fit. so you can take them out and refit them in about 3 hours at home. just lube up the springs and slide the bags in. you will have to dissconnect the anti roll bars if you have them and the ACE ram as well to avoid damage to the ball joint links. You may also need to consider fitting longer travel shocks too.
You can buy coil spacers 20mm & 30mm front and rear for both Disco 1 and 2, For 4wd shops that dont know the are the exactly the same spacer that is fitted into the front of a 80 or 100 ser Landcruiser (Fits front and rear of of Clasic Rangie's and disco 1 and 2s.)

Willvine, how did you setup the polyairs and the spacers?
I'm looking to do the same, but wasn't sure how to make the big black polyair mount fit into the spring spacer.

I will post pic tomorrow so you can see. but when you order the poly airs you will need to specify you have raised springs as they will supply you with top and bottom rubber spacers just follow the instructions ( Very easy). You may need to borrow your missus electric carving knife to trim the rubber spacers just a mill or 2 as the spacers need to rest on the upper spring mount. when you put them in it may look like the bags are too small but with the spacers and vehicle weight they sit niceand tight.
