    Strange noise

    On the Fender taking off there is a strange noise underneath sounding like the front prop shaft rubbing against something or scraping..But here is the catch ,Only in gear ,when coasting in neutral it disappears instantly..
    WTF is it any takers?
    it sounds too far forward to be GB related..
    Got me miffed.

    Check you pop UJ's Front and rear as the sound and feeling travels under the car

    more than likely a front prop shaft uj.
    had the same power on noise, clutch in no noise
    with mine it happened up in the back blocks and need 4wd to get out didn't have spares with me and it cost a new prop shaft

    New propshaft surely cant be unis , Not brake shoes either..not adjusted up enough to be usable let alone drag
