    Defender Td5 uprated intercoolers

    I just intalled my larger intercooler into my 90 today. For a while I couldn't close the bonnet till I worked out the bonnet safety catch was hitting the intercooler.

    The old intercooler also looked like it got somewhat bashed on the top by the catch

    After removing the catch the bonnet closes but this is not really a great solution.

    Has anyone else had the same hassles?

    Yep. My catch has now been bent. I make certain it's lined up before bushing it closed.

    just grind a bit of the back section of the safety catch, follow the profile thats there, really easy.
