Hey guys, was under the car today trying to find an oil leak and was just wondering what the two, inch hoses are coming out of the transfer case? is it some kind of oil cooling?? because it just runs forward then back again, i couldn't seem to find any reference to it in my manual.
Also does anyone know if my 2000 defender 130 should definately have an electric fan on the front of the radiator or just the viscous one on the rear, it does have aircon, although it doesn't work but still has all the bits just needs a regas i think. But there is no electric fan which i found odd.

Oil in the Harness, suspension knock, transmission clunk, engine oil leaks, exhaust manifold leaks, centrifugal oil filter stripped bolts, a/c leaks, door leaks, wouldn't trade it for the world

There is an oil cooler pipe on the gearbox which just runs in a loop forwards. Never seen one on the transfer case. Most Defenders that I recall seeing with A/C have a fan at the front.
Only factory A/C vehicles have the fan...
Oz fitted A/C doesnt.
