Hi Sumo,
At 180,000km I would say that if city driving, the fork will need replacing soon. Open road; possibly last the life of the clutch, which in this case could go to 250K easily.
I have also noticed that on about 30% of cases the fork wasn't greased at all during factory assembly, the rest were given a token gesture.....I would get someone to operate the pedal while you listen at the bellhousing for squeaks etc. You can actually lube the pivot if you feel like drilling a hole in the bellhousing at 6o'clock in line with the rear of the housing casting for the slave cyl, and then pump gear oil or preferably pressure pack spray grease in to the pivot ball from underneath.

vechicle used every day but only light duties, my thing has always been prevenative maintainance, at 180,000ks showing should i pull it down and replace? or do you get some sort of warning other than complete failure.
