Why not do a search on Tyres.
There are numerous discussions on this, but the short answer is 245.75X16.

A sense check please...
Instead of wading through a million "What tyre size can I use..." posts or starting a new one I thought I would do a bit of calculating myself. Is this right...
I am currently running on 235/70R16 tyres. I had them prior to getting my 50mm suspension lift.
If I changed my tyres, could I increase the tyre radius by up 50mm and use 235/85R16 (50mm/235mm=approx 20% so 70R16 + 20% = 90R16 but this would surely be too big and difficult to obtain) without having to cut away any bodywork or add flares since they are the same width as my current tyres and therefore would not protrude beyond the bodywork.
This all assumes there is also adequate lateral clearance which I'm guessing there should be (I've not checked).
A 235/85/R16 tyre has a 75mm larger diameter than 235/70R16. Would the extra 37mm or so ground clearance really make that much difference?

Hi Sam, 245/75 is the bigest you can go without any mods.
The main problem is clearance at the rear guard, under compression, the tyre will catch the guard at the rear. Any bigger than 31 inch dia and you need to camel cut, search for it, heaps of info.
Wider tyres will rub on full lock but you can adjust steering stops - you will lose turning circle and end up doing 20 point turns like Deefers.
Thank of it the other way - if you reduced ground clearance by a mere 37mm, would THAT make a difference? In other words, if you dropped it below the level of a Ford Territory ... ?

I wasn't being too lazy to do the search; it was more a case of the inquisitive engineer in me wanting to know why something is the answer.![]()
