    Theres no stoppin these fenders!!.

Got home this afternoon, parked the fender as usual ,turned the key off nothing happened just kept on purkulating no worries. Just had time to duck down to the auto elecy, and he found a short in the blinker hazard switch. evidentley the power to the injector pump solenoid is wired through this switch??.or have i got dodgy wiring from a previous over enthusiatic landy owner?

    Cheers Sumo

depending on the year model of the deefer there a prang stop switch on the fire wall and if activated it turns on the hazards and turns off the engine.

if the wiring in the hazards switch shorted the hazards hot supply to the kill side of the engine circut you coudl get what you describe.

This problem appeared on my 130 on the weekend. It has fixed itself for now but will no doubt return. I haven't checked anything out yet but would expect a bad connection to the fuel solenoid on the injector pump. Maybe due to water, mud, age, vibration etc. Interesting to read other peoples comments though. I will keep it in mind for when I get the time to look at it. For now I will add it to the list!
