From my experience I would not buy IPF Fat Boys. I was conned by ARB into buying a set of those a few years ago when I went to replace a blown 80/110 IPF globe. They were very dissapointing for the price.
Hi Jeff, I run Philips Crystal Vision globes and have done for nearly 4 years.
When I first got the RR it kept blowing low beam globes so I tried a few different brands and none gave any better light than the globes I was using.
Then while talking to one of my customers who had an auto spare store, he told me to try the Crystal Vision which are 55w but have a light output that is something like 110w and it's pure WHITE light.
I replaced the low beam and tested them that night, they were that good that I swapped them for the high beam globes to see what they were like.
When night driving I use to run 2 x 55w low beams, 2 x 55w high beams, 2 x 130w IPFs and 4 x 130w roof mounted Hella 181s.
The next day I was back at the customer’s store and replaced the other 8 globes and have never been happier with the lights.
Up to now, over the 4 years, I have replaced only 2 blown globes but I noticed the original low beam globes were going yellow and dull so I replaced them a few months ago.
I use to do about 2,000 kms of night driving a month so they got a good work out and have well and truly paid for themselves.
The cheapest place I have found to get these globes is from Bursons, there a bit like Repco or Supercrap.
Here’s some pictures of these lights in action.
Here’s part of the ship in daylight so you can get an idea of how big an area the lights cover.

Iuse 90/100 in the headlamps, 130 in the Hella 1507 searchlight, 100 in the Perlux foglights. All individually relayed and fused with heavy wire.

I use 'Hella H4 (60/55) Premium Xenon - 50% Brighter White Light' and have been very happy with them. I've parked my D1 next to Signal1's D2 as a comparison and they are much brigher. The light isn't quite as blue white as the Phillips Crystal Vision I had previously but the globes are considerably cheaper. They aren't painted blue like the Phllips globes either, which some claim reduces light output.
