Thread: 300tdi Turbo service Kit

Dear Aulroians ;

Is it possible to get a service Kit ie ( bearings , seals ) etc for a Garett Turbo on the 300 Tdi ? does any one know a Distributor in sydney that can supply the bits ?

I called BMI and they tell me there is no service Kit available because the Turbo is part of the maniflod housing & I need to Buy a New Turbo ? what ? but looking at the set up you can pull off the manifold to get to the Turbo ?????

Can't help you with the bits because i have never had to do mine, but when i had my pajero had the turbo bearings and the like re done, by a turbo place in camden,they had all the bits required, i think it was a garrett as well.
Can't remember their name but got them out of a 4wd magazine.They specialised in 4wds.
Having said that ,it was a few years ago now, they may not be there.
A decent turbo rebuilder should have the bits you need.
