    billies

i think i have one on the front thats on its last legs

i have had a knock in the front left for a month or so and had ignored it as all the suspension bushes have been replaced and the wheel/swivel bearing are good and adjusted

i was off roading on the weekend and the knock got worse to the point where i had a look under the car and notices dust or wet dust of the right shock, looked over at the other shock and it nice and dry

stupid question......are billies rebuildable??? or am i up for a new pair

do i just measure the open and closed lengths of the current one and order...just thinking that would mean i would have to remove and install twice

i think i have heavy duty or upgraded front springs as i hace a bull bar and bonnet mounted spare, will the standard billy cover a range of springs

They can be rebuilt to your specs, I kept my original shocks to fit when I send my bilstiens away for rebuilding, Regards Frank.
